What is the FLUF Coloring Contest?
Each show we sponsor a coloring contest where youth are invited to learn more about one of the Lionhead varieties. We will be giving out blank sheets of that variety at the previous Florida ARBA show, and it will due at the next ARBA show to allow all youth the opportunity to learn more and show their artistic talents. Though we give a guideline of the variety each month, youth are encourage to be creative in all other aspects of their artwork, including the background and lettering. The front should be anonymous for our judging, and space to include a name and age group is on the back.

Tell me more about the BLACK Lionhead!

Black Lionheads have black wool and a black saddle with rollback fur. Their eyes are black and ears are black as well. They can be distinguished from the seal variety because you can see the gray cast to the wool in these images. Seal would have a brown cast, rings in the extension of the wool, and a white in the belly. Black shows all black with no brown cast.
When coloring a black Lionhead, work with your medium to show contrast in shading and develop texture in wool through your shading!
