Grooming Tools

Metal Combs

Use these first on the mane and flanks to get out tangles and light mats in the wool.

Slicker Brush

Use this next on the mane and flank wool to get out loose wool without pulling extra density out.

Rabbit Comb

Use this comb as needed on the bottom and backside of the rabbit to clean up where any mess may have stuck to wool or fur under the rabbit so that it stays sanitary.

Pin Brush

Use this as needed on show day to fluff out the mane for maintenance on show day before presenting to judges.

Nail Trimmers

Be sure to trim nails every 3-4 weeks for the safety and comfort of your Lionhead.

Other Tools

  • Blower: Can remove loose wool without pulling extra density
  • Apron: Needed to protect from wool while grooming
  • Lint roller: Needed for human after grooming
  • Dryer sheets: Can help with static on mane, especially on cold show days
